Clayton is a perfect 7-0 against South Garner since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Comets will be playing at home against the Titans at 6:00 p.m. South Garner took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Clayton, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Clayton turned things around against Willow Spring on Wednesday. They walked away with a 6-1 win over the Storm.

Meanwhile, South Garner fell victim to Garner and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 15-0 to the Trojans. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Titans' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

South Garner dropped their record down to 1-9 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Clayton, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5.

Clayton took their win against South Garner in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 17-4 score. Will the Comets repeat their success, or do the Titans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
