Soccer Recap: Southern Alamance Comes Up Short

Southern Alamance lost against Southeast Alamance back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Patriots lost 8-0 to the Stallions. While losing is never fun, Southern Alamance can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 455th, while Southeast Alamance are ranked 117th).

This is the second loss in a row for Southern Alamance and nudges their season record down to 3-12. As for Southeast Alamance, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-4-2.

Southern Alamance wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 4-1 loss against Northwood on the 9th. As for Southeast Alamance, they have also already played their next contest, a 5-0 victory against Graham on the 9th.
