Volleyball Game Preview: Coral Academy of Science - Reno Falcons vs. Battle Mountain Longhorns

After both having extra time off, the Coral Academy of Science - Reno Falcons and the Battle Mountain Longhorns will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Coral Academy of Science - Reno came up short against Oasis Academy on Friday, falling 3-0. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Coral Academy of Science - Reno was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 26-24, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Battle Mountain beat West Wendover 3-1 on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Longhorns.

Battle Mountain had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-14, 25-13, 25-23.

Coral Academy of Science - Reno's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Battle Mountain, their win bumped their record up to 19-10.
