            Cuyahoga Falls hasn't had much luck against Tallmadge recently, but that could start to change  on Monday. The Black Tigers will host the Blue Devils  at 5:00  p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
Cuyahoga Falls was handed a nine-run  loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene  on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Barberton, sneaking past  3-2. The  victory continues a trend for the Black Tigers in their matchups with the Magics: they've now won four in a row.
  Ash Walker spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two  runs (both of which were unearned)  on five hits and racked up seven Ks.
Meanwhile, Tallmadge waltzed into their contest  on Saturday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They came within a single  run of losing the streak, but they secured  a   2-1 W against the Raiders.

 Tallmadge pushed their record up to 14-7 with the  win, which was their seventh straight  on the road. Those  road  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 12.6 runs over those games. As for Cuyahoga Falls, their win bumped their record up to 5-15.
