Royal Palm Beach and West Boca Raton are an even 3-3 against one another since October of 2015, but not for long. The Wildcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bulls at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Royal Palm Beach lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Boca Raton, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's matchup. The Wildcats claimed a resounding 47-8 victory over the Bobcats. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Wildcats' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 143rd, while the Bobcats are ranked 321st).

Meanwhile, West Boca Raton never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past Western 35-0. Winning may never get old, but the Bulls sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Royal Palm Beach better focus on containing Trey Moran and Anderson Gracilien as the pair were huge in West Boca Raton's win. Moran threw for 186 yards and three touchdowns on perfect 9-for-9 passing, while Gracilien gained 109 total yards and two touchdowns. Those 186 passing yards gave Moran a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Billy Clancy III, who picked up 117 receiving yards and one score.

One reason for the win was West Boca Raton's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as five different players picked up one apiece.

West Boca Raton's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Royal Palm Beach, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 5-1.

Royal Palm Beach was taken down by West Boca Raton 48-7 in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Moran, who threw for 117 yards and three TDs on perfect 7-for-7 passing.
