Basketball Recap: Rio Vista Takes a Loss

Rio Vista was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Cordova Lancers, falling 53-32.

Rio Vista's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Cordova, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rio Vista will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lindhurst at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Cordova and Rodriguez will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Rodriguez knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matchups -- so hopefully Cordova likes a good challenge.
