Basketball Game Preview: Twin River Titans vs. East Butler Tigers

The Twin River Titans will challenge the East Butler Tigers on Saturday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Twin River saw some tournament action on Saturday. They secured a 62-58 W over Tri County Northeast. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Titans.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Twin River to victory, but perhaps none more so than Braedyn Ramaekers, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 14 boards. Those 16 points gave Ramaekers a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Colsten Rodriguez, who posted 16 points.

Twin River smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 14 offensive boards in three consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, East Butler put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 57-50 win over High Plains. While the Tigers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

East Butler's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 37 points. As for Twin River, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.
