Basketball Game Preview: Inter-Lakes Lakers vs. Gilford Golden Eagles

Inter-Lakes hasn't had much luck against Gilford recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Inter-Lakes Lakers will take on the Gilford Golden Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Inter-Lakes is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 38-35 heartbreaker at the hands of Moultonborough Academy. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Lakers have suffered since January 31, 2024.

Meanwhile, Gilford unfortunately witnessed the end of their 11-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against Belmont, falling 69-43. The game marked the Golden Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Inter-Lakes' loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Gilford, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-2.
