East Nashville Magnet is a perfect 10-0 against Whites Creek since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Eagles will challenge the Cobras at 4:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with East Nashville Magnet sitting on five straight wins and Whites Creek on three.
On Wednesday, East Nashville Magnet made easy work of Hillsboro and carried off a 10-1 victory. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by six runs or more this season.

Calvin Bibby and Alexander Griffey made a splash no matter where they played. Throwing, Bibby pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Griffey struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. At the plate, Bibby went 1-for-5 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double, while Griffey went 2-for-5 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Griffey has become a key player for East Nashville Magnet: the team is 6-2 when he posts at least two runs, but 4-5 otherwise.
In other batting news, Chauncey Anthony was incredible, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. East Nashville Magnet is undefeated when Anthony posts two or more runs, but 6-7 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Jachaun Taylor, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
East Nashville Magnet always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .513. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .513 or higher in four consecutive games.
Whites Creek hadn't beaten Maplewood on the road since March 13, 2023 but that history sure didn't bother them on Thursday. The Cobras blew past the Panthers 15-7. The result was nothing new for the Cobras, who have now won four contests by seven runs or more so far this season.
Johnathan Scales was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up three earned runs off only one hit. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one triple and two RBI. That triple was his first of the season.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Xavier Jackson, who went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. Ivorie Lee was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
East Nashville Magnet's record is now 10-7. As for Whites Creek, their record now sits at 5-3.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. East Nashville Magnet has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.5 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Whites Creek struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
