Softball Recap: Smithville Warriors vs. Raytown South Cardinals
While Smithville put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Raytown South. Everything went the Smithville Warriors' way against the Raytown South Cardinals as the Smithville Warriors made off with a 17-0 victory. The contest marked the Warriors' most dominant win of the season.
The victory made it two in a row for Smithville and bumps their season record up to 9-10. As for Raytown South, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Smithville will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Winnetonka at 4:00 p.m. As for Raytown South, they will challenge Excelsior Springs at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
