Baseball Recap: Liberty Victorious

Liberty's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Aliso Niguel Wolverines 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bison have posted since March 26, 2024.

Riley Vogt spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits.

At the plate, Jake Feidner was excellent, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

Liberty's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Aliso Niguel, they now also have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Liberty will be taking part in a tournament against Woodrow Wilson at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Aliso Niguel, they will take on Narbonne in a tournament on Tuesday.
