Basketball Recap: Seaside Takes a Loss

Seaside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 59-29 loss at the hands of the Ilwaco Fishermen. The matchup marked the Seagulls' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Seaside's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Ilwaco, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.

Seaside and Gladstone will face off at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for Ilwaco, they will challenge Forks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
