 Florin can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent  match  on Monday. They blew past the Mesa Verde Mavericks 11-1. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Florin.
  Mason McNany spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered  just zero earned  (and one unearned) runs on zero hits and racked up nine Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate, Florin got a big performance out of  JaLon Johnson, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-4. Johnson is crushing it when it comes to  stolen bases: he's   stolen at least one every time he's  taken the field this season. Another player making a difference was  Martin Vega, who  went 2-for-4 with four  RBI and a  run.
 Florin is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four games,  which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record  this season. As for Mesa Verde, they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-7.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. As for Mesa Verde, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Casa Roble at 3:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Casa Roble is coming into the  contest with four straight  victories at home,  so Mesa Verde will have to stop a  team with plenty of momentum.
