Basketball Recap: Dickinson Drops Highest Score of Season Against Grand Oaks

Dickinson scored the most points they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 79-71 to the Grand Oaks Grizzlies. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Thursday (64), the Gators still had to take the loss.

When it comes to explaining why Dickinson lost, don't look at TroyNelle Belle. Despite the final result, he went 11-for-27 on his way to 33 points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals. The game was Belle's fourth in a row with at least 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremy Mixon, who posted 13 points and three steals.

Having lost for the first time this season, Dickinson fell to 3-1. As for Grand Oaks, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.
