Football Recap: Arickaree Takes a Loss

Arickaree and Peetz squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Arickaree had to settle for second. They took a blow against the Bulldogs, falling 44-0. The Bison were red-hot offensively heading into the contest (they scored no less than 31 points in the three matchups prior), but the Bulldogs' defense proved too tough.

Austin Wright threw for 41 yards on three of 12 attempts. Jaxson Cordell was his top target, picking up 30 receiving yards.

With the defeat, Arickaree broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-6. As for Peetz, the win keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Arickaree does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Peetz, they will host Otis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Peetz's defense better be ready for this one: Otis has averaged an impressive 38.8 points per game this season.
