Softball Recap: Galeton Comes Up Short

Port Allegany hit Galeton with a 14-run second inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Tigers lost 17-0 to the Gators. The Tigers have struggled against the Gators recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Galeton's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Port Allegany, they pushed their record up to 9-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Coming up, Galeton will host Sayre at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Port Allegany, they will head out to square off against Northern Potter at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
