Softball Recap: Darrington Comes Up Short

Darrington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 15-5 to the Granite Falls Tigers. If the Loggers were looking for revenge after losing 10-2 to the Tigers when the teams met back in April of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Darrington's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Granite Falls, their victory bumped their record up to 2-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Darrington will welcome Orcas Island at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Granite Falls, they will host South Whidbey at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
