Recap: Shadow Ridge Stallions vs. Tolleson Wolverines
Make it eight blowout wins for the Shadow Ridge Stallions this season. They put the hurt on Tolleson with a sharp 50-28 win on Tuesday. The victory was just what Shadow Ridge needed coming off of a 69-45 loss in their prior game.
It was another big night for Aalayah Ramirez, who scored 19 points along with nine steals. Mckinzley Jones was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Shadow Ridge has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. As for Tolleson, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-7.
Shadow Ridge will take on Cesar Chavez at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cesar Chavez presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Shadow Ridge in Arizona (Cesar Chavez is ranked 34th, while Shadow Ridge is ranked 95th). As for Tolleson, they will head out on the road to square off against Maricopa at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
