Analysis: A bracket that has traditionally been dominated by Miami-area teams is more wide open this year and could be won by one of the more impressive teams from the Central part of the state in recent years, Dr. Phillips. Miami Central has only one loss and is a major threat. Columbus, undefeated with a victory over Northwestern, adds to the bracket's depth. Defending-champion Miramar, which lost to DeSoto and Hallandale by a combined three points, also gave St. Thomas Aquinas its toughest game this year and cannot be counted out.
