Softball Recap: Manasquan Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Manasquan's offense. They fell just short of the Middletown North Lions by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The Warriors have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Manasquan's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Middletown North, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Manasquan will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Colts Neck at 4:00 p.m. on the 19th. As for Middletown North, they have already played their next contest, a 1-0 defeat against St. John-Vianney on the 7th.
