Tri-Valley and West Central are an even 5-5 against one another since November of 2020, but not for long. The Mustangs are taking a road trip to challenge the Trojans at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Tri-Valley is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Tri-Valley lost 3-0 to Dell Rapids on Friday.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Dell Rapids scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-17, 25-19.

Meanwhile, West Central got the win against Parker/Marion on Friday by a conclusive 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-11, 25-15.

West Central's win bumped their record up to 19-8. As for Tri-Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 10-13.

Tri-Valley couldn't quite get it done against West Central in their previous matchup last Saturday as they fell 2-0. Can the Mustangs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
