Basketball Recap: Dunsmuir Comes Up Short

Dunsmuir lost against Yreka back in December of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Dunsmuir Tigers had to suffer through a 87-55 loss at the hands of the Yreka Miners. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Dunsmuir still got an impressive performance from Michael Kellar, who posted 35 points. The match was Kellar's tenth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jayden Christianson, who scored six points.

Dunsmuir's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Yreka, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-4.

Dunsmuir has already played their next game, a 76-25 defeat against Lassen on the 14th. As for Yreka, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 69-46 loss against St. Bernard's on the 14th.
