Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Northside Christian walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Shekinah Christian Flames with a sharp 58-33 win on Friday. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Shekinah Christian's loss came despite strong showings from David Miller and Alex Bauermeister. Miller posted seven points and five rebounds, while Bauermeister scored nine points.

Northside Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. The defeat snapped Shekinah Christian's winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 19-4 record.

Coming up, Northside Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Russia at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Russia will roll in looking for their 26th straight victory, something Northside Christian surely won't give up without a fight. Shekinah Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
