Live Oak Classical had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32.2 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 46-28 victory over the Whitney Wildcats. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 563rd, while the Wildcats are ranked 1258th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Live Oak Classical found their leader in sophomore Stella Sriram, who went 9 for 22 on her way to 22 points and six steals. Audrey Pahmiyer was another key player, going 5 of 10 on her way to 11 points along with five boards and five steals.

Live Oak Classical smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 15 offensive rebounds in three consecutive matches.

Live Oak Classical's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Whitney, their defeat was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-14.
