Soccer Recap: Waseca Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Waseca unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Byron Bears on Saturday, falling 6-0. Waseca have struggled against Byron recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Byron has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Waseca and Byron will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Bluejays are set to challenge their familiar foe Marshall at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Byron will face off against rival Cannon Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
