Basketball Recap: Crow Takes a Loss

Crow was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 43-18 to the Mapleton Sailors. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cougars have suffered since December 6, 2024.

Crow's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Mapleton, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crow will venture away from home to challenge Siletz Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mapleton, they will challenge McKenzie at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mapleton is facing McKenzie at the right time seeing as McKenzie is stuck on a 17-game losing streak.
