Soccer Game Preview: Latin vs. The Noble Academy

The Latin Romans will face off against The Noble Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Latin's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. Everything went their way against Cristo Rey Jesuit as they made off with a 5-0 win. Lauren Rosenberg was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, The Noble Academy's game last Tuesday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. They put the hurt on UIC College Prep with a sharp 5-1 victory. The win was nothing new for The Noble Academy as they're now sitting on three straight.

Latin has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 42 goals over those ten matches. As for The Noble Academy, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

Everything went Latin's way against The Noble Academy in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as Latin made off with a 7-0 victory. Do the Romans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Griffins turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
