Baseball Recap: Jerome Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Jerome can now relate to. They lost 6-0 to the Skyline Grizzlies on Saturday. The loss was just more heartbreak for the Tigers, who fell 4-2 when the teams last met back in March of 2016.

Jerome dropped their record down to 11-17 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. The slump could be explained by some tough opposition over that stretch, namely Skyline, they, and Twin Falls. As for the Grizzlies, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season.

Jerome does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Skyline, they will head out to face off against Twin Falls at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Bruins will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something the Grizzlies surely won't give up without a fight.
