Morrice has gone a perfect 8-0 against Atherton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Orioles will venture away from home to challenge the Wolverines at 4:30 p.m. Morrice is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.

Morrice is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Webberville just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 8-3 to the Spartans. Austin Gutting made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Oliver Long, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with four stolen bases.

Meanwhile, Atherton lost 16-6 to Genesee Christian on Thursday. The Wolverines have struggled against the Soldiers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Brennan Eaton was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those RBI marked the first that he has brought in this season.

Atherton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Morrice, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.

Morrice got the 'W' when the teams last played back in April of 2025 against Atherton by a conclusive 13-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Orioles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
