Volleyball Recap: George Ranch Takes a Loss

If George Ranch was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Brazoswood on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Longhorns fell just short of the Manvel Mavericks by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mavericks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 last Thursday.

George Ranch's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Manvel, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-5.

George Ranch wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Needville on the 23rd. As for Manvel, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Foster on the 23rd.
