Ogallala came into Friday's   contest looking for another win against Alliance, but  Trini Trejo wouldn't allow it. The Bulldogs walked away with  a   28-21  victory over the Indians  on Friday thanks in part to  Trejo, who rushed for 168 yards and three  TDs. He is becoming a predictor of Alliance's success: when he posts  at  least two  rushing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 0-5 when he doesn't).
 Alliance didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Espen Lanik and  Smiley Valdovinos.
 Ogallala's  loss shouldn't obscure the performances of  Sawyer Smith, who gained 159 total yards and two touchdowns, and  Rhys Gilmore, who picked up 93 receiving yards and one  touchdown. An impressive showing, but  Smith really ramped things up playing D: he picked up  three  sacks and made 15 total tackles (4.0 for loss).
Alliance's win  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 4-5. As for Ogallala, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the  defeat, which was their fourth straight  at home.
As of now, neither Alliance nor the Indians have any future games scheduled.
