Basketball Game Preview: Copan Hornets vs. Barnsdall Panthers

The Copan Hornets will head out to face off against the Barnsdall Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Barnsdall took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Copan, who comes in off a win.

Last Thursday, Copan strolled past Foyil with points to spare, taking the game 45-29.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Barnsdall challenged Cleveland on Saturday. Barnsdall lost 64-43 to Cleveland. The Panthers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Barnsdall now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Copan, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Copan won a game that couldn't have been any closer in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, slipping by Barnsdall 48-47. The rematch might be a little tougher for Copan since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
