Volleyball Recap: Oak Forest Takes a Loss

Oak Forest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Lisle Lions. The Bengals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Oak Forest's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Lisle, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Looking ahead, Oak Forest will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Rich Township at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lisle, they will head out on the road to square off against Coal City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Lions' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
