Football Recap: Silverado Skyhawks vs. Green Valley Gators
Silverado was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 35-14 to the Green Valley Gators. The Skyhawks lost against the Gators in their previous head to head back in October of 2017, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 48-0 score last time.
Silverado's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Armani Combs, who rushed for 87 yards and a touchdown, and D'Angelo Hagans, who gained 86 total yards and a touchdown. Hagans was even better on defense, making four total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defending three passes in addition to snagging two interceptions.
