Football Recap: Pomona Comes Up Short at Home Against Lakeside + How To Watch

Pomona unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a 31-14 bruising from the Lakeside Lancers on Friday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 11 in a row.

Damarrion Bridges threw for 27 yards.

Among those leading the charge was Robert Arellano, who rushed for 54 yards and a pair of scores, and also threw for 264 yards while completing 76.2% of his passes. A healthy portion of Arellano's aerial production (110 yards to be exact) went to Jaylen Long.

Looking ahead, Pomona will challenge Garey at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lakeside, they will take on Tahquitz at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
