Basketball Recap: Waskom Takes a Loss

Waskom was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were dealt a 78-43 defeat at the hands of the Nacogdoches Dragons.

Waskom's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Nacogdoches, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waskom will take on Joaquin at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Nacogdoches, they will face off against Hallsville at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hallsville will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Nacogdoches surely won't give up without a fight.
