Softball Recap: Miles Comes Up Short

Miles fell victim to Reagan County and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 16-0 to the Owls. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Owls this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 two weeks ago.

Miles saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaymie Herring, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

This is the second loss in a row for Miles and nudges their season record down to 7-9. As for Reagan County, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-3.

Miles wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 6-1 win against Stanton on the 26th. As for Reagan County, they will challenge Hamlin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
