Red Bud came tearing into Saturday's contest with 11 straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Jersey Panthers by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Musketeers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-19.

Peyton Kreher paced Red Bud's offense, picking up seven kills. Kreher got some help from Norah Wagner and her 16 assists. Corbyn Legendre controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Red Bud's victory bumped their record up to 18-1. As for Jersey, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-6.

Red Bud didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Alton on the 20th. As for Jersey, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Granite City on the 20th.
