Christian Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 48-35 victory over the Borden Braves on Saturday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 64-36 back in February.

Joshua Renfro was his usual excellent self, shooting 50% from the field on his way to 18 points and seven boards. Another player making a difference was David Cook, who posted ten points and six rebounds.

Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season. With the defeat, Borden broke their eight-game winning streak and moved their record to 18-8.

Coming up, Christian Academy will face off against Orleans at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Orleans comes in on three and Christian Academy on four. Borden does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
