Baseball Recap: Humansville Comes Up Short

Humansville managed to slip by Lakeland the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tigers came up short against the Vikings on Friday, falling 15-0. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Humansville's defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Lakeland, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Humansville will venture away from home to square off against Climax Springs at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lakeland, they will head out to challenge Skyline at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
