Soccer Recap: Fresno Christian Takes a Loss

Fresno Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were one goals away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hoover Patriots. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2022.

Fresno Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Hoover, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Fresno Christian will face off against Laton at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hoover, they are taking a road trip to square off against Sanger West at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hoover is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.4 goals per game this season.
