Soccer Recap: Antigo Comes Up Short

Antigo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Waupaca Comets, falling 3-0. If Antigo were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to Waupaca when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Antigo's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Waupaca, their victory bumped their record up to 3-7-1.

Antigo wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 7-1 defeat against New London on the 4th. As for Waupaca, they will venture away from home to square off against Clintonville at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
