Morgantown Christian Academy won the last time they faced Pipestem Christian Academy and things went their way on Saturday too. The Morgantown Christian Academy Mustangs snuck past the Pipestem Christian Academy Panthers with a 36-32 win. The 36-point effort marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Among those leading the charge was Tyce Day, who posted 12 points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Cole Mathess, who scored ten points and five boards.

Pipestem Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Silas Mattox, who put up 13 points and eight rebounds. That's the most boards Mattox has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Enoch Gonderman, who had eight points and 11 rebounds.

Morgantown Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Pipestem Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Morgantown Christian Academy will head out to challenge GVCS Broadfording at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pipestem Christian Academy, they will venture away from home to take on Victory Baptist Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Pipestem Christian Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.4 points per game this season.
