Basketball Game Preview: West Rebels vs. Heritage Mountaineers

The West Rebels and the Heritage Mountaineers will face off at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. One thing working in West's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

West's tournament run continued when they took on Boyd-Buchanan on Friday. West walked away with a 69-57 victory over Boyd-Buchanan.

Meanwhile, the stars were shining brightly for Heritage in a 63-49 win over Red Bank on Friday.

Heritage has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.2 points per game. As for West, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.

West was able to grind out a solid win over Heritage when the teams last played back in December of 2022, winning 53-43. Will West repeat their success, or does Heritage have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
