Neah Bay waltzed into their match on Tuesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They breezed past the Evergreen Lutheran Eagles to the tune of 71-40. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-15.

Neah Bay's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tyler Swan, who went 8-for-13 en route to 17 points and four steals. Swan is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 62% in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Seactis Woodruff, who posted nine points and three steals.

Neah Bay smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 16 consecutive contests.

Neah Bay's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.8 points over those games. As for Evergreen Lutheran, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-7 record this season.

Neah Bay has already played their next game, an 83-57 win against Tulalip Heritage on the 20th. As for Evergreen Lutheran, they will venture away from home to take on Muckleshoot Tribal at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Muckleshoot Tribal's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
