Volleyball Game Preview: Belmont Sentinels vs. Bernstein Dragons

Belmont is 0-8 against Bernstein since April of 2021 but things could change on Monday. The Sentinels will welcome the Dragons at 4:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with six defeats in a row, Belmont turned things around against Roybal on Friday. They came out on top against the Titans by a score of 3-1.

Belmont was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-20, 20-25, 25-12, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Bernstein had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Bobcats.

Bernstein had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-14, 25-18, 25-16.

Bernstein's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-7. As for Belmont, their victory bumped their record up to 5-12.
