Volleyball Recap: Lincoln-Sudbury's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Eight

Lincoln-Sudbury had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Weston Wildcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

While Lincoln-Sudbury might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Weston scored at least 22 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-22, 25-27, 25-23.

Lincoln-Sudbury found their leader in freshman Mila Gottesman, who had ten digs and two aces.

Lincoln-Sudbury was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in 16 consecutive matches.

Lincoln-Sudbury's victory bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Weston, their defeat ended a seven-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-9.

Coming up, Lincoln-Sudbury will take on Shrewsbury at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. Weston does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
