Baseball Recap: Calvert Comes Up Short

Calvert fell victim to Leonardtown and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 10-0 to the Raiders. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cavaliers have suffered since April 1st.

This is the second loss in a row for Calvert and nudges their season record down to 7-11. As for Leonardtown, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 19-4.

Calvert didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 20-0 victory against Thomas Stone on the 2nd. As for Leonardtown, they have also already played their next contest, an 18-9 win against La Plata on the 4th.
