Soccer Game Preview: Hinsdale South vs. Glenbard South

The Hinsdale South Hornets will face off against the Glenbard South Raiders at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hinsdale South will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Hinsdale South will bounce into Thursday's matchup after beating Berwyn/Cicero Morton, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Hornets had just enough and edged out the Mustangs 2-1 on Tuesday. Audrey Atkinson had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Hinsdale South.

Meanwhile, Glenbard South kept a clean sheet against Fenton on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Bison. Glenbard South haven't had any issues with Fenton recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Hinsdale South pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those five games. As for Glenbard South, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2-2.
