Baseball Recap: Glenpool Comes Up Short

Glenpool and Skiatook pushed the score to 13-8 the last time they played Skiatook, but on Monday defenses reigned supreme. The Warriors fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 2-1. The loss continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost four in a row.

Eli Winters made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Glenpool's defeat dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Skiatook, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-10 record this season.

While Glenpool had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
